Nigerian Gastronomy

FOOD:
There are restaurants of all kinds of food in Lagos and the larger towns. And Eastern European food is well represented. The typical Nigerian food often includes yams, sweet potato, banana and spicy soup, with regional variations.
In the north, the flesh is more popular than in other areas of specialty are you (roast beef liver and twigs) and kilishi (dried beef seasoned with spices), in eastern egussi soup (stew meat, dried fish and melon), and south of the goat meat and game, particularly antelope is considered a delicacy.

Drink:
There are many local brands of beer that is very good. Alcohols are expensive.
