The Mandara mountains of Cameroon shares with Nigeria, rise to the east. It is a good place for hiking. From Gwosa, 115 km from Maiduguri, you can splendid walks by volcanic mountains.

You can see unpublished species of butterflies and monkeys. We suggest leaving early in the morning and return late to avoid high temperatures.
