Found in northern Africa, an ecoregion that stretches comprising countries such as Mauritania, Senegal, Burkina Faso, Niger, Nigeria, Cameroon, Chad, Central African Republic, Sudan, Eritrea and Ethiopia, known as the Sahel region, a savannah and plain semiarid tropical able to get involved in hamata winds during the winter that wraps around in the sand. The particularity of the area is a solitary inhabitant: the most common tree is the acacia, which in parts seems to grow in the middle of desierto.No is difficult to find lodging during this trip.

The large area of the Sahel savanna, bounded on the north to the wooded savanna of southern Sahara, northwest to the western Sudanese savannah, south of the Mandara massif and the mountain forest southwest of Ethiopia, Somalia and savanna Prairie Ethiopia. The area often has little to differentiate the desert with an endless landscape of sand dunes.
